My Wolf oven says it is at 350 but it is not. Why does the display lie?
The display shows what the control believes, and the control believes the sensor. When the sensor drifts, the display drifts with it.
Is a steam oven repairable or is it a throwaway?
Repairable. The usual failures are the water system, door seals and sensors, all replaceable.
Do you use genuine Wolf parts?
Yes, for sensors, elements, igniters and boards. Those are the parts where the wrong copy causes the fault to come back.
