Most Viking range calls are one of three things. The ignition side stops sparking or sparks on every burner at once. The gas side gives a lazy, yellow or uneven flame. The oven side drifts off temperature and bakes badly.
They are diagnosed differently and priced differently, which is why we test before quoting rather than after.

The burner lights eventually. Can it wait?
It can, but it usually gets worse rather than better, and slow ignition means gas releasing before it lights. Worth fixing sooner than later.
Do you replace whole burner assemblies or just parts?
Parts wherever possible: electrode, cap, valve, orifice. Whole assemblies only when the base is corroded through.
How long does a Viking range repair usually take?
Most ignition and valve work is done in one visit. Oven sensor and thermostat work is the same, unless the part has to be ordered for an older model.
Is a twenty year old Viking range worth repairing?
Usually yes. The body and burners are heavy steel and the failing parts are still made. We will tell you honestly if a specific unit is the exception.
