How long can food stay safe while I wait for a repair?
About four hours in a closed refrigerator and roughly 24 to 48 hours in a full freezer if you keep the door shut. Keep it closed and call early in the day.
Is a warm refrigerator always a refrigerant problem?
No, and it usually is not. Fans, defrost parts and door seals cause most of the warm calls we take on built-in units.
Do you repair the ice maker in the same visit?
Yes, if the fault is the fill valve, tube or module. Say so when you call and we bring the parts.
My Viking is built into cabinetry. Can it be repaired in place?
Almost always. We pull the unit only when the work requires access to the back, and we protect the floor when we do.
